2016 Gordon Pattison Award

Congratulations to Alexandra Muir, recipient of the 2016 CIQS - Ontario Gordon Pattison Award presented at the CIQS - Ontario Annual General Meeting held on May 14, 2016 in Toronto, Ontario.

Alexandra graduated this year from the Construction Technology Management program at Niagara College and is now working for the City of Welland.

The Gordon Pattison Award for Academic Excellence is awarded annually by CIQS – Ontario to a student enrolled in an Level 4 accredited program of study. For a list of Level 4 accredited programs please click here.

This award was named after our Founding Father, Gordon Pattison, in recognition for his service to the Institute.

The criteria for selection of the award is as follows:

1) The student must be in the final year of their program of study,

2) The student must be a registered member of the CIQS – Ontario,

3) The overall academic performance of the student with special emphasis on the quantity surveying subjects, and

4) The student’s extra curricula activities with special emphasis on their involvement with the CIQS – Ontario or the local chapter of the CIQS - Ontario.
